Senioritis leads to resending admissions

  
Towards the end of the school year, most high school seniors have gone through the long, tedious process of applying for college and hopefully have been accepted to the school of their dreams.  Upon applying, many of those seniors receive big, fat packets containing acceptance letters.  Finally… seniors may think they have the chance to lay back and relax in their last semester of high school, but they must think again. read more

Sophomore Alex Gilliam dubbed “local hero” after impavid action

  
According to dictionary.com, a hero is defined as a person who, in the opinion of others, has heroic qualities or has performed a heroic act and is regarded as a model or ideal.  This definition describes Plymouth’s local hero, sophomore Alex Gilliam.  When Gilliam’s girlfriend was put into a life-threatening situation, Gilliam stepped up and went with his gut instinct to save her life. read more


PHS’ new rules make iPods legal in study halls


Study halls are a very calming time.  You can do your homework, study, or read a book, but you were never allowed to listen to your music on your iPod or mp3 player.  Thanks to Student Council, this rule has just been changed. read more


Area offers various spring break activities

  
While many people choose to fly thousands of miles away to sunny beaches and oceans, many of us chose or are forced to stay home over spring break.  The cold Wisconsin weather may not be as glorious as hot rays of sun to some, but there are still many things to do in Wisconsin to keep one entertained over spring break. read more


Health Yeah! cautions spring athletes this season

  
With the spring sports season kicking off, many athletes at PHS are in for a few months of running, throwing, or swinging.  The training for these sports, however, can result in overuse syndromes that could put some athletes on the bench.  I am here to discuss a few of these syndromes. read more
