Did You Know teaches PHS the new Seven Wonders of the World
Story by Jessie Fields
For this issue, my column topic is actually serving two purposes. I am “teaching” some people old information as well as new information. As I surveyed homerooms for this issue, I found out that a lot of people didn’t know what the Seven Wonders of the World were. I, myself, can honestly tell you that I did not know what all of them were, but I did know that there was only one left standing—The Pyramids of Giza. As I was looking for information I found out that there was actually a new set of world wonders that were unveiled. read more

Story by Casey Mourlam
It’s 5:30 on a Friday night and it’s time for the big PHS vs. Sheboygan Falls basketball game. Nearly every household in Pantherland is gearing up for the game. As people pull up to the high school, tension can almost be tasted in the cold bitter air. Then, finally the moment of truth comes when both teams take the floor for the tip off. Replaying this image in my mind, I start to think why I hate the kids 50 feet across from me. Why is it that every time we meet, the claws come out and we imagine tearing each other from limb to limb? With the information from the faculty and students, and yes, people from Sheboygan Falls we’ll learn about the long time rivalry we all love to hate. read more
