PHS Swim and Dive Team Concludes Strong Season


The boys’ swimming and diving team continues to improve as the season has progressed. Undefeated in conference dual meets, the team has accomplished many things, including beating Kiel—a major conference rival. read more

 

 



Kulow Impresses Many As a Talented Underclassmen


Sophomore Jaci Kulow started participating in sports when she was only five years old and has continued playing throughout her high school career. She can now add Rookie of the Issue to her many achievements. read more


Superbowl XLI Marks a Day in History


Jackie Robinson was the first black Major League Baseball player, playing in 1947 for the Brooklyn Dodgers. Tiger Woods was the first black golf champion, winning the masters in 1997. Willie O’Ree was the first black National Hockey Player, skating for the 1958 Boston Bruins. Now, Tony Dungy, head coach of the Indianapolis Colts and Lovie Smith, head coach of the Chicago Bears, can add their names to the list of firsts. The two are the first black National Football League head coaches to lead their teams to the super bowl, both doing so in the 2006-2007 NFL season. read more
