The Dresdon Dolls Put on a Much Anticipated Show

Master of ceremony, Sxip Shirey, entered stage right with his inimitable fro hairstyle as the crowd filling the Pabst Theatre rose to their feet. After a minute of senseless babble and musical mania through its upper orifice, Sxip introduced an act, which encompassed new world rave with old world pyrotechnics. The group was named Flaming Etiquette, local to Milwaukee, which was made of a pair of women and two matching males. The show started subtly with the women followed by the two men, who started to perform the fire act. A medieval weapon known as a mace was the instrument of choice. Instead of a ball with sharp spikes at the end of the chain, there was a sphere of cloth, doused in combustible liquids. The balls were swung in familiar fashion to that found in raves. read more

We generally try to bring mere mortals along on our eating extravaganzas, however this month Señor Swimalot acted stranger than usual, thus scaring away any opportunities we had to find friends. And so it was, we set off on our journey to Plymouth’s new restaurant at Plymouth Gateway unaccompanied. We didn’t even carpool! Super Kicks was the lone ranger in the Chump Chaser. Señor Swimalot tramped in in Tanto and Extreme Scream Girl slid over the crusted ice in her beautiful, soon to be “Junker of the Month” candidate, Enrique. read more
